The long awaited trip to South Dakota final came and went all way too fast.

South Dakota is not a popular vacation spot, but after going there I do not understand why more people do not go there. It was great!!!

We had a great time with my family--my parents, my 4 siblings and our 7 nieces and nephews. With that many people there was never a dull moment.

When telling people we were going to South Dakota on vacation I always got a puzzled look; however, they had no idea what they were missing out on.

We had almost everyday planned out with activities- from seeing Mount Rushmore to swimming in natural hot springs (which was Pat's favorite with an extremely fast water slide).

Pat was able to visit Sturgis (a town of 2,000 people that once a year at the beginning of august 500,000 motorcyclers roll into town) and I caught my first fish.

We stayed in a really nice cabin over looking the never ending Black Hills, a view you cannot even imagine.

All in all, it was a great trip, thanks mom and dad.
