2008 Car Show

A couple of weeks ago we went to the
2008 Car show here in Salt Lake City.

Surprisingly I want THAT bored and there were some cool new cars.

This last Friday Bishop Rains and his wife Jana,
my Young Womens teacher in high school, came to Provo.

They treated us to dinner at Brick Oven
and it was so great and weird to see everyone "all grown up".

Got Wheels?

"You are not going to believe this," said a 911 caller to the Michigan State Police, reporting that "there is a semi pushing a guy in a wheelchair on Red Arrow Highway" in Paw Paw, Mich. Sure enough, responding troopers found that a truck driver had hit a man in a wheelchair; the handles on his chair got stuck in his front grille. The driver, completely unaware of the man stuck to the front of his truck, drove about two miles at up to 50 mph before reaching his destination. Ben Carpenter, 21, who was seat-belted to his chair, was not only not injured, he found the experience downright fun. "It was like a ride at a fair," Carpenter said later. (South Bend Tribune) ...Except he didn't have to wait in line for half an hour.

SURPRISE!!!!!!

For the past month pat and I have really wanted an addition to our family, no not a baby but a furry little critter. We debated on a hamster, a hedgehog, to a ferret. After researching we ruled out the first two and went to the pet store to look at some ferrets. After considering our situation I ruled that we needed to be responsible and not get a pet; little did he know I was planning a little surprise. So when he was out with some friends I ran to the store with my neighbor annie and got little "Frido." Pat was SO surprised and happy.

New Hair

I cut it off...through requests here are some pictures of my new hair. Due to my laziness I haven't straightened it since I got it cut.

Guys Weekend

A couple of Pat's high school friends (Jeff and Troy) came in for the weekend, so this weekend was full of guy outings and high school memories.

Back to School

It's back to school for Pat and I. We are excited for this next semester because we are taking a lighter load along with work. Our schedule is swapped, with us going to school in the morning and then working in the afternoon.

New Years Eve

For New Years Eve this year we went to my favorite restaurant
California Pizza Kitchen on Pat's parents,
using the gift card they gave us me for Christmas.
Thank you because as always it was so fun and good!

Then we spent the rest of the night the good ole Mormon way...
movies, sparkling ciders, watching the ball drop, then going to bed.
