It's Official!

I must let everyone know, it's official...I have the sweetest husband ever! As many of you know, student teaching has not been the most positive experience. Most days when I drive to work, I ponder how nice it would be for me to get in a car accident because then I could show up later to school. I have nightmares every night and have a hard time falling asleep, fearful of what I am going to have to face the next day.

Pat, being the great man that he is, did the cutest thing today. After another hard long day, I went to my car and to my amazement this is what I found...

4 happy faced balloons, a snicker bar (my favorite candy), subway cookies (my favorite cookies) and a note which read...

Just keep in mind, I teach at a school that 20 minutes away and Pat is super stressed about all the school and Ad Lab work that he needs to get done.

I am so thankful for my amazing husband. There is no way that I would be able to get through this without him. I am able to get through the day because I know I can go home and be with him. I wait for that moment all day and it makes the seconds, minutes, and periods bearable.

Thank you Pat, and I love you.

My Artistic Hubby

Pat is taking a drawing class this semester.
I have always known that he was a naturally gifted artist, but I didn't know that is was to this extent!

His almost finished self-portrait! Isn't it amazing!?

Working so diligently. It was so fun to have him do art, but hard for me to not get involved.

A striking resemblance.

Our Sick Little Buddy

About a week ago Frido, our ferret, started acting really funny. He wasn't his normal self. He slept all the time, wouldn't wake up when we got home and wouldn't play. It got so extreme that a few days later, Pat couldn't take it anymore and took him to the Vet. Of course at the vet, Frido was acting fine. They just assumed he had a bacteria and told us to give him some medicine twice a day. Up until yesterday he wasnt eating either. He lost some ounces.

Name Pickin' 08

This year I was put in charge of picking names for Christmas. With 5 kids in the family, we would go bankrupt if we bought presents for everyone, so we pick names. Enjoy family and Good Luck!

Halloween Night

Just to get his out in the open...I HATE HALLOWEEN! I know I am party pooper but its just true. I don't like carving pumpkins and I hate the stress of dressing up.
But this year it ended up being pretty fun.

Since I am student teaching, I had to dress up for school. But of course I didn't think of it til the night before. This being Pat's favorite holiday he was more than happy to go to DI with me and help me find a costume. I ended up being a mailman, wearing Pat's postal service shirt he already had. It was a pretty disgusting outfit, as you can see.

Then that night Pat and I went on a double date with one of his Advertising buddies, Chris, and his girlfriend Abby. We had a great dinner at the amazing Village Inn and then went to a Haunted House. However, due to the ridiculous price of the haunted house we opted out and called it a night. But the night was a total success; I mean you can't go wrong with Village Inn and the company of Tom Selleck.

So, before Pat and I went to dinner Pat wanted me to dress up. The mailman costume was going to be too cold, so I was stressing out of what to be. I went from being Dian Keaton to a polygamist. I ended up getting really frustrated and just put on a bunch of my clothes and called it good.

Pat was Mr. Bad Guy, as he dressed as Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of Queen. It was amazing how Pat's personality was totally altered as he dressed up; suddenly he was Mr. Cool.

Later that night some of Pat's friends stopped by. Pat's friend Jared was a guys from Reno 911. It was a little scary how much these boys enjoyed their alter egos!
