Saturday night we headed down to SoHo/East Village to see a comedy show. Before the show we went to Maria's favorite restaurant in the city, La Esquina. It's a cute little place on a corner, that only seats about 10 people; however, luck was on our side and all four of us got a seat.

We didn't end up going to the comedy show. Standing room only was left and it was a 2 hour show. Not my idea of fun. So, we opted out, went to a thrift store in the East Village where Maria and I both found some good finds, and then drank the night away at Big Daddy's with their delicious milk shakes.
It was a really good night.

Isn't it great how in this city, even when your plans fall through there is still something awesome to do? And any night that begins at La Esquina is a good night! :)
