This Saturday night we had a spectacular evening full of ghosts, capes, cheese cake and funny scenarios. A few weeks ago we purchased a Groupon deal for a Ghost tour. Patrick has always been into ghosts, mainly because he wants to believe in them so badly but doesn't, so I knew he would love a Ghost tour.
Our friends, Nate and Ashley, also purchased the tour tickets and scheduled us for the tour this Saturday. We met Ashley and Nate for yummy Thia food and then headed over to Grand Central Terminal (we discovered on the tour that Grand Central "Station" is incorrect). We were immediately intrigued and hyped for the tour when we saw our instructor was wearing a cape.
The tour was 90 minutes long and took us throughout Grand Central, which is a building I love and need to explore more. We learned some unique history about the station and New York City. Unfortunately, there weren't as many ghost stories as we wanted, but it still was so much fun. I mean, how often do you get to follow around a man in a cape?

You ate at Juniors! I'm so jealous, the devil foods cheesecake is the best in the world! I miss it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that you found and went on a Ghost tour! What a once in a lifetime tour! ;) The cape is a great touch. I hope your tour guide was a little off his rocker - that would have made the night that much better.
ReplyDeleteYou are the fun and interesting date night extraordinaire!
Stop it. Ghost tour? oh my goodness that is hysterical.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, that was SUCH a great date night scenario.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, your tour guide's hair and cape are KILLING me. That his hilarious. This reminded me just how many random things there are to do in this crazy city. We really need to get out more.
