Today I took the day off of work because my good friend Maria was in town and invited me to go see the Rachel Ray Show. I have never seen a single episode of Rachel Ray, as cooking really does not interest me in ANY way, but spending the day with Maria was what I was excited for.
We arrived early because we heard even if you have tickets that it is hard to get in because they over book the show by A LOT. So we got there an hour and half before the doors opened and made it in with no problem.
Maria invited her other friend, Lyndzee (who actually used to spell her name like me--Lindsay--but in 7th grade she decided she wanted to change the spelling and her mom was totally supportive. What a cool mom!). It is always great meeting friends of friends because since we both have such a great friend in common usually there is an instant connection.
The show was fun with guests that I have never heard of, but the audience did win a $50 gift card to Sports Authority which I later re-gifted to Pat.
It was a really fun day and I am so glad I was able to go and spend it with my now Oklahoma friend, Maria.
