Yesterday I attended and threw my first baby shower, for my lovely friend Adrianna DeBiekes. I was very nervous to put this on, even had a nightmare about Annie (what I know Adrianna by) getting really mad at me because I didn't have enough games. With this in mind I made sure to have enough games for her liking.
We played the "guessing game" by guessing how many safety pins are in the jar.
We played the "How well do you know the Mommy-to-be" game where the mommy-to-be checks all the characteristics that she wants her baby to have either from her or her husband. Then the guests guess what the mommy-to-be will pick.
Then we played the classic game of guessing how big mommy-to-be's tummy is by cutting string. It was funny to see how some people were WAY off!Throwing your first baby shower can be stressful, but now that I have done it I would love to throw another one!

Good job Linds! I threw a baby shower for my 2 sister-in-laws last March and I was stressed too. I was over-planned...I think I had 5 games ready!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your first shower Lindsay!! Sounds like it was a hit! It is so fun to give showers but yea it is scary hoping everyone has fun and the mom/bride likes it!
