Only a few weeks late, but here are some pictures from the infamous "Storm Women Weekend" in California. The pictures are a courtesy of my sister Kim, since my camera broke (it has been fixed and is in the mail as I type! Yipee!)
We toured through Sausalito, Ca, an adorable little town on the bay which looks out across to San Francisco.
We walked the quaint streets,
toured some art galleries
(and yes, that is what we look like as we tour),
(and yes, that is what we look like as we tour),
and rummage through some antique stores.
All things that I wish I had loads and loads of money to buy everything I saw....someday.
Then we headed to the "local" BINGO hall to play ourselves some fun.None of us had ever played Bingo like this before. It wasn't as simple as get a straight or diagonal line. It was WAY intense. They had different patterns each round and we had 10 different sets of cards we had to decipher. I think it was a little overwhelming, but the folks there seemed to have a hang of thing, playing thousands (number just a tad over-exaggerated) of cards at once.
We ended the weekend by seeing "Wicked" (my second time). We had GREAT seats and as always, the play was amazing. I loved it the second time because I knew all the music by heart and really could enjoy the story.
Thanks to the incredible Storm Women for making this weekend possible.
Wait, you toured the quaint streets of Sausalito, but not Clayton? Time for another Storm Womens Weekend!
