For a last minute idea, New Years Eve 2010 was a hit as we ate good food, watched 2010's top YouTube videos, watched New Years Eve parties across the Nation, and got really excited about it turning midnight.
Adam and Julie..they crack me up.
It was so nice of Duston and Ali to have us over for some good times,
especially as they just got back from being away for Christmas.

Come midnight we headed up to the roof to yell, scream, and shout about it being 2011.
Pat and I also threw our New Year hat's, that he bought for us,
off the roof and watched people pick them up and wear them.

It took a few tries for pat to actually get his hat off the roof.
It was so picturesque to sip Sparkling Apple Cider while taking in the NYC skyline and watching the fireworks go off in between buildings in Times Square.
It was a fun and casual night (just the way I like it). Afterward, Pat and I walked home amongst all lively bars and drunken people. We saw a few fights, several crying girls, and a lot of stumbling and mumbling people.

Mmmmm. Give me those strawberries NOW. NOW, I tell you! I really want to celebrate the new year in the city next year! It seems so ideal. You guys look like you had a lot of fun. Some of those pictures really cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me eat about 30 of the 35 strawberries you brought. See you again next New Year's!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a really fun night! The picture of the fireworks was awesome! That would've been so cool to be there. On a rooftop in New York City on New Year's Eve! Does it get better than that?! Awesome.
