Besides visiting family in Utah we planned a day to spend with our good friends Chris, Annie and James DeBiekes. Pat has known Chris since junior high, when Chris moved to Colorado, and they have been friends ever since. We even moved into the same six-plex as them when we got married, and had so much fun being neighbors for the first 2 years of our marriage.
It was so fun to hang out with them just like old times; it was as if we never left. We enjoyed our time together by going to Provo and reminiscing, eating J-Doggs hotdogs, shopping at the BYU bookstore, taking night walks, watching movies, and eating LOTS of candy.
Despite all that fun, the highlight of our time with Chris and Annie was spending time with their son James. I have been itching to see their little boy in person for over a year and a half. We were able to see him a week after he was born, but have missed this past year and a half since moving to NY.
We are not sure if we love him so much because we love Chris and Annie so much, or if we just love him because he is the cutest kid ever, but either way, we had a blast playing with James and seeing him in person. We are his biggest fans.
These pictures are awesome! There is just nothing like really great friends, who feel pretty much like family. Sounds like that's how you guys feel about Chris and Annie!
