Just a few days ago I was thinking how weird it was that it was December and it hadn't snowed yet. Well I spoke too soon because yesterday it started coming down and hasn't stopped since.
I had a little time on my hands this afternoon and thought I would take a little walk and take some pictures of the new snow fall.
I only last about 15 minutes before my nose started freezing, so I headed back home.
However, I am glad I went, even if it was for only a few minutes. There are so many beautiful details that a new snow fall brings and it was so refreshing to go out and look for them.
I didn't have to look far because everywhere I looked there seemed to be a picturesque moment.
I loved the splashes of color I found among the blanket of white snow covering our little block.
Wow, those pictures are so magical! The snow looks beautiful. And yes, very very cold. But I think if it's going to be cold, it might as well snow and make it fun. This is obviously coming from a girl who grew up in Utah. Haha. And it's easy for me to say that when I don't have to walk or drive through it every day! It rarely snows in NY, I've found out recently. Anyway enjoy it while you can! You could totally enlarge and frame one of those shots and use it as christmas decor.
