Today I was going through my daily blogs and I came upon my sister in-law's blog post. She took this picture while waiting in line to get gas at Costco in California. I absolutely love this picture and California. My dream is to someday live in Southern California. I love the weather, the beach, the palm trees, and the atmosphere.
This Saturday Pat and I are headed west to Northern California, to live with my parents to save up for our next adventure (who knows what they will be). Even though it is not Southern California, I am happy to leave the dead scenery and the snow behind. Pat and I are going way out of our way to bring his motorcycle (we bought a truck to drive it out there! haha) so we can enjoy all that California has to offer.
Hopefully the sacrifices we are making now will someday lead us to my dream of living in the paradise you see above.
Woah, California! That will be nice to be home. In the dead of winter, i'm thinking Cali doesn't sound so bad right about now! (And I can't believe that picture was taken in a Costco parking lot. That's unreal! I should move there.) GOOD LUCK with the move and everything that lies ahead!!
ReplyDeleteYay!! So excited! I want to live in Southern CA someday too. Oh yeah, Doug told me that you guys bought a truck to drive Pat's motorcycle! Hahahaha. P.S. You are waiting for my next post already?!??? Haha. I'll try to do another one soon.
ReplyDeleteSo happy that you guys get to do this! I loved growing up in Southern California and I would imagine I'd love living there but I'm such a different person than I was when I was 9, so I have no idea if I could really live there! It's so so beautiful though!
ReplyDeleteI hope that your adventures take you somewhere on the East coast, at least for a little while...
Lindsay! I can't believe you guys are leaving us so soon! I'm devastated! At least I will still be able to blog stalk you to see all your crafty ideas and will remember how we were friends once. Sad. Northern California will be a blast, I'm excited for you to live in such a fun place. Although Southern California has so much appeal, it always seems like Northern California has less traffic and slightly better weather, so consider yourself lucky. I love how you always comment on our blog, it makes my day. We will miss you guys!
ReplyDeleteYou aren't allowed to leave! We still haven't had dinner, hung out, or done anything together!! If you are going to leave you at lease have to take me with you!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you 2 though. You have my envy and blessing ;)
