I bought my 2005 Toyota Corolla when I got back from my Mission in 2006. We have been so many trip together and it has been with me through thick and thin. Pat and I have enjoyed many fun times together in this car (no...not that), most noteably our first road trip together back to Colorado just a few weeks after we started dating. It was that trip that I realized I never wanted to be apart from Patrick ever again.
Since we are moving back to NYC we decided that it would be in our best interest to sell our beloved car. I never thought about the attachment we both had to this car until we made this decision. It is sad...so we took this picture to remember the good times.

I love Carollas! They are the best car ever. It would be tough to say goodbye. My 'rolla is a 1990 and I can't imagine giving her up. I'd love to buy it from you!
ReplyDeleteI understand the feeling, when I had to leave my first car, a maroon convertible VW Cabriolet ;( I had to leave it back home when I moved to Ut because I was scared it wouldn't make the trip! Good luck you guys in NYC!!! That's great!!!
ReplyDeleteI felt just the same way when we had to say goodbye to my Corolla! It was such a great car and I didn't realize I was so attached to it until we had to sell it. Kind of sad! Suddenly you realize all these memories you have with this car attached to them.
ReplyDeleteHey and I'm assuming you guys are still homeless for the moment - you should come over for dinner sometime!
So you're not going to have a car at all now?? Are you crazy Lindsay? You wont be able to go anywhere outside the city like the NJ shore, Philly, DC, etc.
ReplyDeleteYou're always the first to comment on my blog, I love it! I always know I can count on you. :) Have fun in the Big Apple!
