This weekend all the interns here in NY went on a group field trip to the Intrepid. The USS
Intrepid was built during World War II for the United States Navy. The ship was commissioned in 1943, where there after she was used in many battles, wars, and missions. One of her notable achievements include being the recovery ship for a Mercury and a Gemini space mission.

This museum dedicated to the history of the US Navy Ship was another great attraction to help us appreciate all the sacrifices made for the freedom of this country.

I was not as captivated by the information offered on this tour, however, Patrick loved it all.

There is just something about planes and ships that boys just love. I don't get it.

The ship carried about a dozen air crafts used in the past. They were pretty impressive.

We also go to see where the navy men lived. It didn't look all that bad considering we lived in worse circumstances last week. They had it pretty good!

A Lockheed A-12 supersonic reconnaissance plane. Pretty sweet.

Our friends Johnny and Joanna (my partner in crime here in NY).
