Let me clarify. Up was a very well done movie, however, it is one I wish I never had seen and one that I will never see again. I thought I was going to see a funny light-hearted childrens movie, however, what I got was a heavy and depressing. Within the first 10 minutes I was bawling my eyes out, which some of you know does not happen often (see this). This pretty much continued the whole movie. I was so relieved once the movie was over but I felt like I would break down and cry at any moment.
Pat and I were headed home via the subway. Referring the to the movie
Pat said: "Aren't you excited to grow old together?"
Me: "No because then you are going to die."

It was that thought that led me into an uncontrollable fit of tears. I couldn't stop. People were staring as I just sobbed. The more pat comforted me the more I cried.
The moral of the story is:
I love my husband so much and can't imagine a life without him
and
DON'T SEE UP!
and
DON'T SEE UP!
You are 2 cute 4 words! I also wasn't expecting that to be such a tear jerker but I liked it!

ReplyDeleteYeah, Klane ended up working till 8:00 and Todd worked till 8:45, so since we missed indian food with you guys we had a late indian dinner on our own. The restaurant was crazy! Hope yours was good! I was sad we couldn't make it.
I saw the UP...
ReplyDeleteYou were right, i spent the whole movie criying, trying to imagine how horrible would be a life without Miguel... not beeing by his side.. someday... oh, my!!! at least we have a special knowledge that other people don´t...
Anyhow, i would go crazy without seeing his face so close to me while laying on the couch...
BTW, you are having a blast there in NY, aren´t you???
I wish we could live there... we loved it when we went there 2 years ago!
You two look awesomely happy together, congrats!
Love,
Carolina
That sounds like such a terrible movie. I had no idea! "Up" sounds like such a positive name. I'm glad that you warned me... I will be sure not to see it.
