Today we went on a another bike ride,this time in Central Park,trying to enjoy the cooler and less humid weather
while it lasts.
We went with the Smith's who have been the greatest friends.
Pat the grease monkey.
And the funny thing is once I told him he had grease on his nose
he didn't clean it off.
He said "I'm not worried about it."

We went with the Smith's who have been the greatest friends.We have had to rely on them so much since we have come to NYC. Today they spent an hour before our bike ride at our apartment fixing my brakes. It is so great to have such amazing friends that you can always count on to help you out. I just hope someday we can be as good of friends to them as they are to us.

Ditto about the cooler weather. We LOVED it while it lasted. Then it was hot again today! I am so ready for fall and yes, even winter. I'm excited to wear fall clothes, so many more fashion choices when you're not trying to wear as few layers as possible to avoid sweating to death. And winter and the holidays are magical in the city!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, you are making we want to get bikes! If pat could teach us how to disassemble and reassemble them, maybe we'd have room. Or if we move into a bigger apartment. In your ward. :)
We love you guys! You are definitely already GREAT friends to us. Pat's nose cracks me up, I didn't realize he'd said that to you, hahaha. And my bum STILL hurts!
