On Sunday we had more of a mellow day. We went to church then Pat made us dinner/lunch.It was delicious as always.
After that we headed to Macy's to see Santa and the windows. I LOVE Macy's this time of year.
I am super impressed by the decorations and the window displays.
SantaLand was such a cool place. It made me really want to have kids to take there because
I know I would have loved it
(even though I think the Santa's are a little scary and seemed really worn out--poor guy).
but it felt shorter because you were entertained by the elves and all the North Pole decorations.
They were here for such a short time but I think we made the most of it, and I had a blast!

Oh my goodness!! Still haven't gone! That face the Santa is making is cracking me up! Just imagining him making that face thousands of times for pictures is really funny to me. It is the exact same in all three pictures... he has it mastered!!

I thought our Santa was the most creepy ever, but yours definitely has him beat. He is sooo creepy! Hahahaha. Have you seen that website that shows creepy santa pictures? You could totally submit the one with Santa and Pat. Hahaha. I am dying. Santa's face in those pics is killing me!
ReplyDeleteBut I do agree, I loved Santaland! They did such a great job, and I loved that the elves all totally stay in character the whole time. It was magical!
And did you know the "Santa convention" was actually a totally skanky bar crawl? I was so upset when I found out, because at first I thought it was so charming to see all the Santas! Then I found out their purpose in dressing up: to drink as much alcohol as possible at as many bars as possible and get into bars and strip clubs for free. Oh boy. NYC.
Anyway. Looks like you guys had a ton of fun in a short amount of time! Having visitors is the best because it gets you out to enjoy lots of fun things!
